The philosophy of Cosmedix is based around the principal that inflammation is the core cause of all skin conditions.

Traditional skin care lines have primarily selected ingredients that create inflammation when addresing these common skin care problems (artificial colours & fragrances, artificial preservatives, sodium lauryl sulfate, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid etc). Cosmedix took it a step further by not only removing the irrritants, but making the majority of our active ingredients less irritating as well. This is done by a process called chiral correction.

Cosmedix is a medical skin care range available to plastic surgeons. The range is based aroung L-Retinol AGP (Vitamin A). Regimes can be tailored to combat and skin care condition, or general maintenance to those wishing use the ultimate in skin care products.

Cosmedix also offer innovative, non-traumatic peels to stimulate healthy changes in the skin. You can achieve maximum results with minimum downtime.

The peel range is classified into two sections- today's peels and tomorrow's peels. Todays peels are gentle and can be performed without and prior skin preparation. These are ideal for great for general rejuvenation for special occasions, relaxation or to achieve similar results in a slower process. One's skin usually has little to no pinkness, downtime or peeling post peel. Tomorrow's peels are ideal to target more stubborn & severe skin conditions.

Prior skin preparation with Cosmedix skin care products is required for at least 2 weeks prior to proceeding. These peels make dramatic changes to the health of one's skin. Downtime is still minimal, yet is increased in comparison to the today's peels. Generally these peels tend to make you skin slightly pink immediately post treatment & dryness or gentle peeling may persist for approximately 5 -14 days.

Cosmedix have also designed the Body Revolution Range to accomodate skin care concerns elsewhere on the body. The Body Revolution range also offers an in-clinic body peel (requires preparation).
